Attention is Good!

It’s always a good feeling when anybody pays any attention to you, especially for such a personal thing as the writing I do here.

Bashful though I be, I’m honoured that litlove chose to include me in her Fourth Edition of The Best of New Writing On the Web. This is an enterprising attempt to highlight interesting blog writing.

She chose two posts of mine actually, putting together the two parts of On the Road Via Green Tortoise. These are reminiscences of my time in New York City and San Francisco during my late twenties almost 30 years ago.

The best thing about being included in her project is the introduction to many fine blogs and writers of whom I wasn’t aware. If you want to get acquainted with a wide variety of people expressing themselves skillfully, give it a look…
